Description
L3Harris is hiring a Specialist, Software Engineer focused on Rust programming to guide the adoption of Rust across mission-critical software development, manage legacy-to-Rust conversions, provide architectural and memory-safety guidance, and develop maintainable solutions for Integrated Systems and Encryption programs. The role works on a Scrum team, supports the full software development life cycle, investigates complex issues, develops test plans and documentation, and may travel more than 10% to other L3Harris locations. The position is on-site in Herndon, Virginia, follows a 9/80 schedule, and offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus to qualified candidates.
