L3Harris is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer in Palm Bay, Florida to design, develop, integrate, and test embedded computing systems for mission-critical programs in the Advanced Mission Technologies division. The role involves C/C++ software development, hardware-software interfaces, systems and software architecture, testing, customer deployments, and complex mission computing, memory, and display systems. The schedule is 9/80, with employees working 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours and having every other Friday off. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least two years of related experience, or eight years of experience in lieu of a degree. The position may require travel to customer sites and the ability to obtain a United States government security clearance.
