L3Harris is hiring an onsite Specialist, Software Engineering (Embedded) in Mason, Ohio, on a 9/80 schedule. The role develops, integrates, tests, and documents software for embedded target hardware using C and C++ and Real-Time Operating Systems, collaborates with systems and firmware engineers, and supports the full software development life cycle. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline, at least four years of computer or software engineering experience, and at least four years of professional C/C++ development experience; familiarity with RTOS, DOORS, device drivers, Python, and Agile is preferred. The position requires the ability to obtain a Department of War Security Clearance.
