Description
Agnico Eagle is hiring an Underground Drill and Blast Engineer to report to the Supervisor, Underground Engineering. The role develops drill-and-blast deliverables, provides mine operations services, performs drilling, loading, timing, and vibration QA/QC, compiles underground data, supports optimization and special projects, covers the Drill and Blast Engineer, and contributes to monthly reports. The position requires a college degree in mine engineering or technology, two years of mining experience, and knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and mine design software; it follows a 14-day work and 14-day transportation-and-rest schedule with on-site accommodations and meals.
