A-B Tech is hiring a full-time Workforce Development Specialist to oversee high school pre-apprentices for the Asheville-Buncombe-Madison Works program and serve as a liaison among educational, economic, and business/industry partners. The role coordinates business, industry, and education meetings; supports recruitment and retention of students and business partners; develops relationships with students and families; oversees support services; and promotes workforce diversity. The position is based at the A-B Tech Main Campus, requires an associate degree, one year of relevant educational administrative or leadership experience, and school-system experience, and offers a $45,216 annual salary plus benefits.
