Description
The Department of Parks and Recreation is hiring part-time Specialty Instructors to teach beginner and intermediate recreation classes at the Pat White Center at Ben Lomond in Manassas and Silver Lake Regional Park in Haymarket. Instructors plan and lead activities, supervise participants, maintain safety and customer service standards, prepare equipment, and follow program procedures. The role requires a high school diploma or G.E.D., 6–12 months of related experience, and flexibility for evening and weekend hours; starting pay is $16.66.
