Description
Altasciences is hiring a Specimen Management Technician to receive, prepare, process, ship, and store laboratory specimens under direct supervision while complying with GLP guidelines, study protocols, SOPs, and chain-of-custody requirements. The role coordinates with study and laboratory personnel, operates and maintains laboratory equipment, documents procedures, supports quality control, and maintains supplies and department cleanliness. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; laboratory or regulated-environment experience, IATA and 49 CFR knowledge, Microsoft Office, Watson system familiarity, communication, detail orientation, basic math, troubleshooting, and cross-team collaboration are relevant qualifications. The position pays $20.00–$25.00 per hour and requires U.S. work authorization without employer sponsorship.
