Description
The Specimen Technician supports the Specimen Processing Department by performing specimen accessioning, data entry, presorting, pickup and delivery, imaging, centrifugation, and aliquoting. The role requires a data-entry background, strong organization, flexibility, accuracy, and the ability to work in a biohazard environment; no prior experience is required, although laboratory, medical, and production experience are preferred. The position is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST in Chantilly, Virginia, with night-shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and overtime availability as needed.
