Description
The Specimen Processing Technician I supports the Specimen Processing Department by performing data entry, specimen presorting, pickup and delivery, imaging, centrifugation, and aliquoting. The role requires a data-entry background, strong organization, flexibility, accuracy, and the ability to work in a biohazard environment; no prior experience is required, although laboratory, medical, and production experience are preferred. The position is based in Chantilly, Virginia, runs from Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. EST, involves standing, bending, and lifting 20-pound packages, and may include night-shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and overtime work.
