Description
The Special Education Assistant Teacher will work alongside a lead SPED teacher to deliver individualized instruction and support students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities include implementing IEP-based lesson plans, providing one-on-one and small-group support, fostering an inclusive classroom, assisting with academic, social, and independence skills, supporting classroom management, monitoring student progress, preparing learning materials, supervising students, and collaborating with teachers and other school staff. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field and at least one year of experience working with children in a special education setting.
