Description
The Diverse Learners Teacher will instruct, track progress, and support students in an assigned class under the supervision of the school principal. The role includes setting individualized education plan goals, collaborating with case managers, counselors, and general education teachers, managing classroom behavior, designing engaging instruction and assessments, and advocating for student equity and well-being. Applicants need a bachelor's degree or higher, a valid Illinois teaching license with the appropriate endorsement, and must be a Chicago resident or willing to become one within six months.
