Description
The Diverse Learners Teacher will instruct, track progress, and support students in assigned classes under the supervision of the school principal. The role includes setting individualized education plan goals, collaborating with case managers, counselors, and general education teachers, designing inclusive instruction and assessments, managing classroom behavior, maintaining student safety, and using curriculum supplements and technology. Applicants need a bachelor's degree or higher, a valid Illinois teaching license with the appropriate endorsement, and must be a Chicago resident or willing to become one within six months.
