Description
The Speech Language Pathologist assesses residents with speech or language disorders, matches them with available services, conducts regular evaluations and progress monitoring, maintains records, reports progress to management and family members, and keeps professional skills current through literature and seminars. The role requires a master’s degree in speech-language pathology, PRAXIS eligibility or completion, and a state license or eligibility to apply for one, along with sufficient hearing ability and verbal and written communication skills.
