Description
The SLP Assistant works under the supervision of the Coordinator of Therapy Services to support children with speech and language disorders in a therapeutic school setting. Responsibilities include assisting with screenings and assessments, implementing treatment plans, coaching students, collecting and documenting progress, maintaining clinical records, preparing materials, scheduling activities, and supporting research and school events. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders or speech-language pathology and Texas State Licensure as a Speech/Language Pathology Assistant, along with strong communication, organizational, and clinical documentation skills.
