Description

Hearing and Speech Nova Scotia is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide virtual, in-person, and/or group speech-language services for autistic children and families on Cape Breton Island. The role may include preschool autism services such as intensive services, focused interventions, the Early Start Denver Model, QuickStart Nova Scotia, and communication services, with a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend work. The home base will be determined after discussion with the successful candidate, and the position requires a master's degree, NSCASLP licensure or eligibility, recent preschool assessment and treatment experience, and familiarity with pediatric service delivery and autism early intervention. Compensation is $51.06–$66.50 per hour, with a possible $5,000 signing bonus and $2,500 relocation allowance subject to a two-year return of service.
