Description
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) performs comprehensive patient assessments and provides care according to physician orders and established plans. This role involves evaluating intervention effectiveness, modifying treatments, and planning for patient discharge. SLPs must communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and the healthcare team to achieve rehabilitation goals. They also participate in performance improvement initiatives, program development, and contribute to budget planning.
