Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, swallowing, cognitive, and oral-pharyngeal disorders; develops treatment plans; counsels patients and families; documents diagnostic and therapeutic information; participates in interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams; and provides education and supervision of interns. The role requires a master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology, a current Michigan license, and a Certificate of Clinical Competence, with six to twelve months of additional experience preferred.
