Easterseals Story Ave is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for a 10-month position in Bronx, New York. The role works with teachers, therapists, counselors, children with special needs, and families to develop receptive and expressive communication skills, determine alternative communication strategies, participate in evaluations and IEP meetings, maintain clinical records, and supervise a clinical fellowship year when appropriate. Candidates need a master's degree or equivalent in speech and language pathology, a current state speech-language pathologist license, and state certification as a teacher of speech/language disorders when necessary; three years of experience working with young children is preferred. Compensation is $65,000–$90,000 depending on credentials and experience.
