The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) implements treatment plans developed by a supervising speech-language pathologist, conducts screenings and assessments, documents client progress, prepares therapy materials, assists with scheduling and billing, and collaborates with clients, families, and other professionals. The role requires a bachelor's degree with assistant licensure, appropriate certifications or licensures, and 3–5 years of related experience, along with background checks, client-travel, communication, leadership, and computer skills.
