Description
The Palmdale School District is recruiting a part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to provide direct speech and language therapy to students with special needs, support IEP implementation, monitor augmentative communication devices, document student progress, and assist with research, training, and administrative duties. The role requires an associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant speech-language pathology program, one year of paid experience working with children, and a valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license. The position works 6.5 hours per day on a 182-day calendar, may require travel to multiple school sites, and includes a 130-day probationary period with future annual salary advances.
