Description
The Speech and Language Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral motor disorders; develops individualized therapy programs; monitors progress; coordinates with rehabilitation teams; communicates with patients and families; and follows hospital policies, safety, quality, and infection-control standards. The role requires a master's degree, BLS certification, state licensure as a Speech Pathologist, and CCC-SLP certification.
