Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and administers diagnostic tests, provides individualized treatment for adults and children with communication, voice, swallowing, and neurological disorders, advises physicians and caregivers, collaborates on treatment-plan changes, trains junior therapists, consults on interdisciplinary teams, develops department policies, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports community programs. The role also oversees entry-level staff and monitors contract therapists and patients in non-Kaiser facilities.
