Description
Formula 1 is hiring a Sporting Systems Technician to support the installation, deployment, testing, maintenance, and management of timing data acquisition and communications systems at F1 race locations. The role involves installing timing loops, beacons, sensors, cables, decoders, and pit-lane equipment; troubleshooting electrical and network systems; reading circuit drawings; configuring F1 software; and working outdoors in global destinations. Candidates should have electrical or electronic fault-finding experience, knowledge of wiring diagrams, and the ability to travel regularly for extended periods. The role reports to the Engineering Manager - Sporting Systems and offers progression to Senior Sporting Systems Technician.
