Description
The Sports Team Athletic Trainer provides autonomous medical coverage for athletic practices, games, events, and community activities. The role evaluates, treats, prevents, and rehabilitates athletic injuries; responds to medical emergencies; administers medications; coordinates referrals; communicates injury status to coaches, parents, and team physicians; maintains clinical documentation; and delivers prevention programming and education. The position requires NATA BOC certification, a current state athletic trainer license, and a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, with preferred qualifications including a master’s degree, two years of equivalent experience, EPIC or equivalent EMR proficiency, and Spanish language skills.
