Description
The Whitney Museum of American Art is hiring a Community Programs and Partnerships intern for its Education department for the spring 2027 semester. The internship is in person and onsite, runs from January 18 to April 26, 2027, and requires 16–21 hours per week over 10–12 weeks. Responsibilities include supporting virtual and onsite programs and special events, preparing curriculum materials for community-partner educators, researching artists and exhibitions, assisting offsite with community partnerships, and maintaining community programs spaces. Applicants must be enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited academic program, have completed at least one year of academic coursework, and be interested in contemporary art and social movements; previous museum experience is not required. The internship pays a $3,000 stipend and provides Microsoft Office training and opportunities to observe tours and community programming.
