Description
Orbital Operations is hiring engineering interns to own meaningful hardware projects across mechanical design, fluid systems, test and integration, manufacturing and assembly, and avionics. Interns will translate needs into engineering requirements, design and build components, create drawings, work with vendors and manufacturing equipment, assemble hardware, develop and execute test plans, troubleshoot failures, and iterate designs. The role requires full-time onsite work in Long Beach, California, for at least 10–12 consecutive weeks, and candidates must be pursuing a relevant STEM degree and have demonstrated ownership of a hands-on engineering project through fabrication, assembly, testing, and iteration.
