Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a Mid-Level SQL Database Administrator (DBA II) to support enterprise Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Cluster environments for a federal customer. The role is 100% remote, based on Eastern Time, and is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities include database administration, installation, configuration, patching, monitoring, performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability, disaster recovery, troubleshooting, scripting and automation, security, compliance, incident response, and change management. The position requires at least four years of database administration experience, hands-on Microsoft SQL Server experience, and familiarity with several listed technologies; preferred qualifications include professional certification, federal IT experience, cloud administration, ServiceNow, Idera or SolarWinds, and experience with other database systems.
