TEKsystems is hiring a Sr Software Engineer - HR/Payroll Systems for a contract-to-hire role based in Honolulu, Hawaii. The position supports and enhances HR and payroll applications, integrations, databases, and payroll processing systems; develops SQL queries and stored procedures; troubleshoots application and integration issues; and maintains secure, confidential employee and payroll data. The role is primarily remote or virtual with a potential transition to a hybrid model involving approximately one day per week onsite, and pays $30.00-$36.00 per hour. Candidates need at least five years of software engineering or application development experience, strong SQL and database skills, systems integration experience, and familiarity with HR or payroll technologies.
