Description
The Data Engineer III will design, administer, and secure SQL Server database platforms across on-premises, Azure VM, and Google Cloud Platform environments. Responsibilities include database provisioning, performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, backup and restore, monitoring, capacity planning, and production incident response, while supporting data pipelines and reporting systems. The role requires extensive SQL Server engineering and administration experience, advanced T-SQL skills, experience managing large production database fleets, and familiarity with cloud database operations.
