Description
The SQL Server Development Team Lead will provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to data engineers and SQL developers while contributing directly to the evolution of an enterprise data platform on Azure. The role involves designing and operating modern data pipelines and lakehouse platforms, establishing engineering standards, mentoring team members, optimizing Spark and SQL workloads, improving reliability and observability, and supporting operational troubleshooting. Candidates need at least six years of data development experience, two years of technical leadership or mentoring experience, and hands-on experience with Azure, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Data Lake Storage Gen2, Delta Lake, PySpark, ETL/ELT pipelines, and hybrid Azure and on-premises SQL Server environments.
