Description
The Senior Advanced Software Engineer will lead the technical direction of the Forge Cognition edge computing initiative and serve as Lead Architect for the Edge/Cloud Platform. The role owns distributed-edge architecture, Kubernetes and hybrid-cloud deployments, Ansible automation, Python services, IoT connectivity and telemetry, platform engineering enablement, architecture reviews, and engineering mentorship. It requires hands-on experience with edge computing, Ansible, Python, Kubernetes, distributed cloud platforms, IoT, observability, and secure software delivery, along with the ability to translate business and infrastructure requirements into production-ready technical designs.
