Description

MODO is hiring a full-time Senior AI Engineer to lead the technical design and architecture roadmap for integrating AI throughout the software development lifecycle. The role focuses on building AI-powered GitHub Actions validations, complex multi-agent systems with Claude Managed Agents and AWS Bedrock, autonomous agents that manage Jira and GitHub workflows, developer-experience KPIs, and AI-assisted coding adoption across the engineering organization. Candidates need 5–6+ years of senior software engineering, software architecture, or DevOps/Platform Engineering experience, plus GenAI, multi-agent, AWS Bedrock, GitHub Actions, Docker, and API experience.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5–6+ years of combined experience in senior software engineering, software architecture, or DevOps/Platform Engineering roles
At least one year of hands-on experience building solutions and tools using Generative Artificial Intelligence
Experience designing multi-agent workflows, event-based architectures, and asynchronous decision-making systems
Advanced production experience with AWS Bedrock and the Anthropic ecosystem
Experience creating GitHub Actions pipelines, using Docker, and consuming complex Jira and GitHub APIs
Daily use and advanced proficiency with AI-assisted code generators and the ability to train other teams
Preferred Qualifications: Experience implementing evaluation and observability frameworks for agents in production
