SpaceX is hiring a Senior AI Engineer, Platform Infrastructure, Special Programs to build deterministic, well-tested deployment tooling for cleared engineers operating at classified sites. The role covers deployment generators, platform documentation, bundle pipelines, profile-driven rendering across public cloud, enterprise on-premises, and classified air-gapped targets, cross-profile CI matrices, testing and validation frameworks, integration with existing operators and Kubernetes resources, and monitoring-stack migration. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree, at least five years of Go or Python experience, and five years of Kubernetes or similar containerized-application experience. The position requires a Top Secret Security Clearance, may involve extended hours, weekends, and up to 20% travel to government sites, and offers a base salary of $220,000 to $350,000 per year plus benefits.
