Lowe’s is hiring a Senior AI Engineer in Charlotte to lead the development and operationalization of Physical AI systems across its stores and supply chain. The role combines robotics, computer vision, machine learning, data platforms, MLOps, and AI infrastructure, including model development, real-time and edge optimization, data pipelines, GPU/CPU resource management, security and governance, experimentation, and cross-functional leadership. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, four years of ML platform, data, and MLOps experience, three years of GPU/CPU infrastructure experience, and three years of programming experience; preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, cloud AI platforms, robotics, computer vision, and retail or supply chain experience.
