Description
Amazon is seeking a research scientist for its Special Projects team to lead complex, ambiguous research projects from ideation through production deployment, drive technical strategy and roadmaps for machine learning and artificial intelligence initiatives, collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams, publish research, and establish best practices for experimentation, evaluation, and deployment. The role requires a PhD or a master's degree with at least six years of applied research experience and programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or a related language; experience with autonomous AI frameworks, digital twins, geospatial modeling, and translating research into production systems is preferred.
