Description
The Transcriptionist will transcribe audio recordings from property and casualty insurance claims adjusters and other stakeholders into written statements, reports, and other documents. The role involves proofreading, formatting, ensuring linguistic and terminology quality, meeting processing deadlines, maintaining confidentiality, and uploading documents to electronic claim management systems. A bachelor’s degree, a Transcriptionist diploma or certificate, and 1–3 years of prior transcription experience are required, with an MBA or related insurance and risk management specialization preferred.
