Description
Amgen is hiring a Sr Associate Software Engineer – Applied AI to join its Applied AI Productivity/Custom GPT Solutions Practice. The role designs, develops, and deploys secure, scalable LLM-powered agents and Custom GPTs on ChatGPT Enterprise, using RAG, prompt engineering, MCP-based apps, N8N orchestration, cloud-native AWS services, and modern web technologies. It also involves AI solution evaluation and monitoring, secure integrations, regulatory compliance, documentation, cross-functional collaboration, enablement, and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires a relevant master's degree with 4+ years of experience or bachelor's degree with 6+ years, including at least 4 years in software development and system design and 2+ years in production generative AI, cloud-native, RAG, and modern web application development.
