Twist Bioscience is hiring a Sr Automation Engineer to work onsite in South San Francisco, California. The role develops, validates, and maintains automated liquid-handling methods for high-throughput synthetic biology and genomics workflows, supports liquid handlers and related instrumentation, leads validation projects, documents technical systems, integrates hardware with Twist LIMS, and ensures compliance with regulatory and ISO 13485 quality standards. Candidates need a B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field, at least 7 years of relevant laboratory automation experience, and 5+ years operating and programming robotic liquid handlers with Hamilton Robotics expertise. The base salary range is $140,000–$169,000 USD, with bonus, equity, and benefits.
