Description
Lucid is hiring a Senior Automation Engineer, Powertrain to build and govern the PLC, SCADA, historian, MES, OT cybersecurity, IIoT, machine vision, and robotics automation stack for AMP-2 Powertrain equipment in a greenfield facility. The role covers drive-unit and high-voltage battery assembly shops, supports commissioning through volume ramp to June 2027 SOP, and transfers technical ownership to Saudi workers. It requires a bachelor's degree in electrical, control, or mechatronics engineering, 5–8 years of PLC-based industrial automation experience, 3+ years in greenfield launches, and experience with MES integration, safety PLC deployment, and launch readiness.
