The Backend Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, relational databases, and server logic while applying clean code, SOLID principles, unit testing, TDD, and production monitoring. The role collaborates with frontend, product, and QA teams, evaluates technologies, mitigates technical risks, and proposes architectural improvements. It requires advanced Node.js experience, structured backend frameworks, database optimization, Git, Docker, and incident-resolution skills, with cloud, CI/CD, microservices, Next.js, decoupled architectures, and Kubernetes knowledge desirable.
