Sunbit is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer in Jersey City for a hybrid role requiring three days per week onsite. The engineer will design, build, and maintain the Customer Success agent desktop and related integrations, improve operational efficiency through automation and AI, and own features from architecture through production deployment. The role requires at least five years of software engineering experience, a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, and experience with Kotlin, Java, or Scala, Spring, relational and non-relational databases, microservices, and message queues. The target base salary is $160,000–$190,000 per year, with stock options and health insurance benefits.
