Vantor is hiring a Senior Backend Developer to own the catalog API end to end on a small, high-autonomy team. The role involves designing and building APIs and data pipelines in Python, tuning performance across large Postgres datasets, operating cloud services, and shaping technical architecture. Candidates need at least six years of backend development experience, strong Python and API design skills, experience with large-scale data pipelines, PostgreSQL performance tuning, cloud and infrastructure-as-code expertise, automated testing, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. The Colorado base pay range is $128,000 to $187,000 annually, with incentive eligibility and additional benefits.
