1X is hiring a Sr. Buyer, Structures in San Carlos, California to own sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and supply continuity for structural components used in its humanoid robot NEO. The role partners with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to support new product introduction, supplier performance, risk mitigation, cost reduction, and production readiness. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, 2–4 years of global sourcing or supply chain experience, and experience with mechanical or structural components; the position offers $120,000–$165,000 per year plus equity and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
