Lucid is hiring a Camera Hardware Engineer to evaluate image sensor prototypes, lead manufacturing partners through camera hardware design, prototyping, qualification, and production bring-up, and develop camera requirements and specifications. The role also covers sensor-to-vehicle signal definitions, vehicle-level verification and tuning, calibration and manufacturing processes, cross-functional integration, testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis. Candidates need at least five years of camera hardware development experience, knowledge of automotive communication networks and sensor calibration, and a relevant bachelor’s degree; the position offers a base annual salary of $144,000 to $198,000 USD plus medical, dental, and vision insurance.
