Description
The Senior Capital Construction Oversight Specialist will oversee the MTA’s multibillion-dollar capital construction program, reviewing contracts, procurement, billings, maintenance, and construction activities for fraud, abuse, waste, and mismanagement. The role conducts investigations and reviews, interviews agency personnel, vendors, and contractors, analyzes records, prepares reports and recommendations, and may testify in hearings. It requires a bachelor’s degree and seven years of experience or a trade license with ten years of experience, supervisory or project management experience, and the ability to conduct site visits and travel within the MTA jurisdiction. The position is full-time in New York City, offers hybrid teleworking, and requires a two-year employment commitment.
