Description
The role leads the synthesis, formulation, and development of high-performance solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesives and UV adhesives for films, labels, and tapes. Responsibilities include managing adhesive development projects from prototype through commercialization, conducting polymerization and advanced synthesis, translating customer needs into technical specifications, establishing new adhesive platforms, researching adhesive technologies, troubleshooting complex issues, leading quality design and scale-up, and mentoring junior chemists and technicians. The position requires a master’s degree or PhD with substantial relevant R&D experience, expert knowledge of solvent-based PSA synthesis, and experience in adhesive applications for new energy, automotive, and electronics sectors.
