Apex Clean Energy is hiring a Senior Civil Engineer to lead the civil, survey, geotechnical, and foundation design of utility-scale wind and solar projects across the United States. The role includes site evaluation, micro-siting, permitting support, transportation planning, electrical infrastructure routing, consultant and vendor coordination, and project lifecycle management. Candidates need a bachelor’s or advanced degree in civil engineering or a related physical science, at least five years of renewable-energy project experience, and familiarity with roads, foundations, grading, AutoCAD, GIS, and Microsoft Office. The position is primarily based in Charlottesville, Virginia, with up to 25% travel and possible remote work for a suitable candidate.
