NorthStar Energy Services, a Quanta Services company, is looking for an experienced Sr. Civil Engineer, P.E. to join their Professional Engineering Consulting team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The successful candidate will develop civil and structural design parameters, perform independent engineering analysis, calculations, and code interpretations for Energy Facilities. Responsibilities include performing civil site development, structural design, reviewing geotechnical reports, interpreting codes, conducting QA/QC reviews, coordinating deliverables, and supporting field activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, over 8 years of experience in civil and structural design for energy, pipeline, or industrial facilities, a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas and/or Louisiana, and proficiency in civil drafting, plant modeling, and structural analysis software like AutoCAD/Civil 3D, CADWorx, and RISA. They should also be familiar with applicable federal and industry codes, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, possess strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
