Description
AWS Core Networking is hiring a Sr. Cloud Hardware Development Engineer for its Network Product Development team. The role focuses on designing, deploying, scaling, and sustaining high-speed electrical and optical network hardware and interconnects across global data centers. Responsibilities include evaluating hardware and software features, simulating high-speed electrical and optical designs, automating optical test plans, developing optical components and modules, and improving network operations and RMA processes. The position requires extensive experience with optical communication systems, high-speed signals, signal and power integrity, optical transceivers, IEEE standards, and optical networking suppliers, with a preferred background in a relevant engineering field and hardware product development experience.
