Description
Textron is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up, program, and operate ProtoTRAK mills and CNC lathes for low-volume, high-mix aerospace and defense prototype and production work. The role involves interpreting blueprints and CAD models, performing tool setup and machine adjustments, inspecting first articles and production parts, troubleshooting machining and tooling issues, documenting activities, and supporting continuous improvement. Preferred qualifications include experience with ProtoTRAK, HAAS, or Mazatrol controls, G-code programming, prototype or toolroom machining experience, and GD&T knowledge; five years of CNC machining experience is preferred.
